
Oh my god, aren’t these book covers stunning? I’ve always loved Coralie Bickford-Smith’s clothbound series, both as a lovely book and a book of lovely words. It’s so wonderful to see her take the theme into a totally new direction with the F. Scott Fitzgerald series.

Ever feel like you’ve found your art-twin, except they’ve done the things that you’ve only had in your mind? Yup. This girl. I love the colours, the use of patterns, the black and white line drawings. Gorrrgeous!

And while we’re on the subject of Marimekko, textile designer and illustrator Maija Louekari has recently illustrated a tableware series called In Good Company. Oh, to eat off those plates and drink from those cups! Make sure to spend a moment on Maija’s website, it is chock full of delicious colour and line.

Finnish illustrator Sanna Annukka has made some gorrrrgeous greeting cards for nineteen seventy three. Gold metallics on kraft paper? Yes, yes, yes! If you’re not sure you’ve seen her work before, you may recognize her Kanteleen kutsu print for Marimekko. [via Print + Pattern]
